Think meditation is hard? Do me a favor, take a slow deep breath in and now breathe out. Congratulations, you just meditated. Hi, I’m Krystal Jakosky, and this is Breathe In, Breathe Out: a Weekly Mindfulness and Meditation podcast for anyone ready to own their own shit and find a little peace while doing it.
Welcome to Breathe In, Breathe Out. I'm Krystal Jakosky. This guided meditation is so that we can take a moment to clean out just a little spot that might need a little attention. Kind of like what cob wipes. So we're gonna start taking a deep breath in and out. Take another deep breath all the way into your belly. And out. Take another deep breath and notice how it feels going up into your nose. How your body expands before it all just let's go, releases and contracts. Another deep breath in expanding all the way before you just let it all go. Your muscles, relax on your deep breath in. You feel your shoulders rise a little and the way they just fall and settle as you exhale completely Another deep breath in through the nose, and out.
Allow yourself to let go. Allow the surface that you are on to just hold you and support you. As you breathe in and out. Your muscles, shutting their stress, letting go of each breath, relaxing, more, releasing more each breath. Let's go deeper with another deep breath in. You're going to let your mind's eye open a little bit. We're gonna do a body scan. Take a moment. What part of your body is your mind's eye drawn to the most? Where do you need a little cleaning up? There might be more than one space. And right now we're going to focus on the biggest one, the loudest one, the heaviest one. Where are you most drawn to? We're going to go to that spot with another deep breath on your exhale. You're going to start pulling whatever it is that's in there. Just start pulling it out. It might just land on the floor in front of you. It may float in the air, whatever it is, let's just pull it out. Whether it's solid or liquid, sticky or airy in this space, you are able to reach in and pull out whatever dusty, dirty sludgy matter that needs to come out.
Get every last bit of it Removed. Don't leave anything behind.
Hmm.
That feels so much better. So now that you've got it all out, Just take a look at it. Does it have a name? Is it emotion or fear, do you need to understand what it is? Or are you just glad it's not in there anymore? Now that it's out, We need to decide what to do with it. We need to make it go away. So how do you want to do that? Do you just surround it in white light and it just magically disappears? Does it get swallowed up in the forest floor? Do you burn it to ash? How do you get rid of that and release it and let it go? Take a deep breath and blow it out. That's right. Blow it out, push it away. Let it be gone. And now we've got this open space. We get to put happy, joyful things in it. So what would feel best? What would boost you the most? Is it a color? Do you need bright yellow sunshine? Is it a rainbow? Is it love? What would you like to put in that space that you have now made open? You've removed the cobwebs and the ickiness, and now you get to fill it up with something joyful and positive.
So we're gonna visualize that in front of us. Before we write that in, it's warm Underwear. Once was heavy, is now light and joyful Where it once was dark. It's now bright. It's like, you just cleaned the windows. Now you can see better. Take another deep breath in, and as you go out, just feel how your whole body settles. It feels better. It feels more positive,
Hopeful.
So we're going to bring that with us. As we begin to come back to our bodies, you take those deep breaths in and out. You take another and you feel the surface you are on. How supporting it is. Take another breath and wiggle your fingers and toes. You can still feel that positive warmth, where you brought it in and cleared it out. With a breath in you, open your eyes and you become more alert and awake. You recognize that you still feel lighter. You still feel better, more positive. Take another breath and stretch feeling into this amazing body that you have. The gift of who you are in this space. And this moment, good job doing a little cleaning, feel free to come back and clean some more.
I hope this moment of self-care and healing brought you some hope and peace.
