My mom was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Dementia. The symptoms she’s experiencing and emotional upheaval that has come along with it have been a challenge to navigate. Things have also been seemingly contradictory to what I’ve learned and been teaching for years. Follow my journey as I work through some of the different aspects of being a caregiver to my mom while ensuring I don’t lose myself in the process.
