Have you ever bailed on something you agreed to? You got so caught up in the excitement during the invitation that you agreed to in the moment, and then later, you bailed. Well, I am here to tell you that it is okay. Although I did the same thing recently, the only difference was that I did end up going. I felt the same anxieties, and the day of; I did not want to attend the event. But I went! and you know what? I felt amazing afterward. I felt accomplished. I felt like I showed up for my friends. I was accountable. Yes, it is okay to bail, but sometimes showing up is just as important. It is a balance.
